Fall really is the most wonderful time of the year, isn't it? I love the transition to cooler temps bringing cozy dinner parties with friends, fall fashion, football Sundays (aka more cooking w/ friends), bingeing the fall line up of new shows & date nights at the movies.

Outerlands is back!
After a rather long pandemic hiatus, Outerlands in the Outer Sunset is officially back! Currently serving takeaway brunch Thursday through Monday at their sidewalk tables and parklet seating. Last week it was a non-stop bustle on the corner of 45th & Judah so don't come too hungry and be prepared to wait for a table alongside the rest of the cool kid set.

Classic Chicken Marbella
While everyone was perfecting their banana bread and sourdough starter skills last year, I was cooking Chicken Marbella on repeat. I fell in love with this 1980's classic from the famed Silver Palate cookbook that Ina updated. It's an easy, make ahead dish and I can't wait to serve it for my upcoming fall & winter dinner parties. It's delicious over mashed potatoes or couscous and it's even better the next day!
