Happy (belated) 2021 & Covid Anniversary! Does anyone else feel like time is going by both extremely slow, as well as super fast? I'm excited to continue to put 2020 behind me, and make 2021 the best it can be. I hope you're all sticking to your 2021 resolutions so far, and if not hey, we're doing the best we can do here! In other news, perhaps I'm bias because of the name, but I cannot stop watching the Netflix show "Call My Agent." It's always a tiny victory finding a show that you cannot stop binging, and if you're missing workplace shenanigans this may be the show for you too! I've also been enjoying these sunny San Francisco days, and more to come with Spring right around the corner. Don't forget to set your clocks for Daylight Savings on Saturday, and cheers to more hours of daylight!
Stay Healthy. Stay Positive.
Cheers,
Debbie

The Spring Market Began in January and Continues to Accelerate
|
At the beginning of the new year, it is not unusual for buyers (demand) to jump back in
much sooner than sellers (new listings - supply), a dynamic which commonly
accelerates as spring gets underway. When demand surges while new listings lag
behind, buyers must increasingly compete, often heatedly, for appealing homes. This
imbalance in supply and demand adds considerable pressure to the market, with
overbidding and price increases becoming much more common. And this has occurred
with a vengeance in early 2021, especially within the city’s house market.

Now this is cool! An Immersive Van Gogh exhibit is coming to San Francisco.
The experience is a digitally projected traveling attraction that computer animates the art of the Dutch painter in a surroundscape experience. The projections not only cover the entirety of the room’s walls, they also extend down onto the floor where sunflowers and social distance circles combine into an artful pattern. They just released more tickets, but if you don't have time in the near future don't worry, it'll be here until September!

For those of us who have a difficult time with multi-step recipes, this is for you! Just throw some cherry tomatoes in a baking dish with a block of feta cheese in the center and bake at 400 degrees. Stir in cooked pasta once it's finished and you're done!

New Additions to The Outer Sunset

DamnFine Pizza Co. on Judah is surely living up to it's name! Do I have it minimum twice a week? There is a definite possibility. The dough is naturally fermented that then goes through a three day, cold rise process- in other words: the dough's gluten content is broken down so it's easier to digest, AKA no stomach ache the next day. You MUST check this out!

Sunset's beloved Noriega Produce has gotten a serious upgrade. Gus's Community Market officially opened its doors last month, and let me tell you: it was worth the wait! Finally a full scale grocery store for the Outer Sunset. In addition to fabulous produce, there's also a meat market, deli, cheese section and even a sushi bar.
