Hello Friends!
While the rest of the country starts to bid their summer adieu, we are just getting started, and there’s no better time to buy and sell real estate than when the sun is shining and Karl heads out of town. Despite some continued uncertainty in the market (world events, a presidential and SF mayoral election cycle, potential rate changes…), we are optimistic. Stagers are booked up, so we anticipate more inventory in the coming weeks and agent chatter is that buyers are eager to buy before potential rate cuts cause a market frenzy. Here’s the latest that’s worth sharing!
As always, please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Surely, you’ve heard about the changes taking place in the real estate landscape. Now, buyers are required to sign an agreement with an agent before touring property together. This contract, called a Buyer Representation and Broker Compensation Agreement, clarifies our working relationship, explains how we are compensated and allows us to advocate as your representative in your real estate purchases. I am more than happy to talk about these changes with you over coffee or on the phone. What remains the same is my commitment to my clients — I will continue to work diligently for you to ensure you get the house you want at the best possible price.

Little Original Joes - My new favorite restaurant
This is one of the Marina’s hottest see-and-be-seen destinations since the inception of Barry’s. The Italian restaurant (by the Original Joe’s team) is full even on a Monday night, so expect a wait or slide up to the bar and nurse an espresso martini to pass the time. Throw in photogenic cocktails (I highly recommend the Negroni with “LOJ” emblazoned onto a single ice cube) and a decibel level that never seems to taper off, and it’s easy to have a good time.
Pro tip: Go on a Saturday afternoon between 2-5p to snag a table w/out a long wait

Last night we hosted a birthday dinner at our home, but lucky us, our friends did all the cooking or 'ordering' rather. One thing they did make was a gigantic peach & arugula salad. This seasonal salad was absolutely delicious and a huge hit. If you're going to any Labor Day barbecues, pool parties or beach picnics this weekend, bring this easy to make crowd-pleasing salad. It's summer in a bowl!
