An overheated market cooling or normalizing does not necessarily imply a weak market by historical standards. This month's report shows median house price trends and year-over-year appreciation rates. Note that the data can be volatile, fluctuating according to a number of factors, including market seasonality.
Mid-late summer is usually a much slower period compared to the spring selling season. Autumn typically sees a very substantial spike in new listings and sales prior to the big mid-winter slowdown.
As of early August, the average, weekly mortgage rate for a 30-year fixed rate loan fell below 5% for the first time since April holding steady in the mid to upper 4% range. Considered the greatest Mexican painter of the 20th century, Diego Rivera had a profound effect on the international art world. SFMOMA's Diego Rivera's America is an exhibition comprising 150 drawings and paintings created between the 1920s and the mid-1940s, a time when Rivera was producing his best and most iconic work. Additionally, three galleries will be dedicated to large-scale film projections of some of Rivera’s most well-known murals. San Francisco was particularly important to Rivera; it is the first place he painted murals in the U.S. San Francisco is also where
Rivera and Kahlo remarried in 1940, after their brief divorce. On now through January, 2023.
